The brick is here - and interior studs finished

The brick was chosen to match the Motherhouse (in background)
Because of the ICF brick ledge, it looks like we'll have brick under the driveway at the garage doors
I wish those window wells were in already - there's mud in the basement
Tile field is in
That's gonna be an interesting corner to brick-up.
Metal stud framing for the basement suite.  Overall, a very clean construction site.
Metal studs throughout, wood studs at the jambs.  A bit of the chapel sloped ceiling visible.
Good to see the plans are still being used!   :-)     Pocket doors on sides, into kitchen.
I was glad to provide the builder a 3D rendering for his really nice sign.

The windows are in, the roof is done

Made it out to the site this past, beautiful, Tuesday.  The windows end up being the ($1000 ea.) Pella type.  Great windows for a super energy-efficient house.  The inside space is fun to be in - no interior walls yet, just one big 3,400 square foot room!

View from the SE
Do not use this door, go around...
Ceiling framing, above the entry, in place
No interior walls yet - you won't see a house this way too often.
Dining area windows!
Basement lookng SE.  Yes, that'll be an overhead door for the lawn tractor (not a Harley)

A site visit to the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist Priests' Residence

I finally visited the site today, after a long time away.  It was exciting to see the progress, and to actually "feel" the size of the residence (as opposed to "virtually" feeling it while using BIM software during the planning process)

The beginnings of a "front" door...
...and who would YOU hire to frame-out a priests' residence?
